Good story but ...

Narrator has a great voice and she is good - but would be better if we could hear the last 2 words of each sentence (she drops her voice so low I hardly heard most words). Odd. Plot is good and keeps up the suspense throughout, but the ending is just too quick. Could have been drawn out more, making the previous hours of listening so worth it.

Narration issues

Unfortunately the narrator was too quiet to hear at the end of most of the sentences.
This made the book difficult to enjoy.

The voice and intonation of the reader is a real shame

What a good story! So many twists and emotions. However, the singsong voice of the reader is unnatural, forced, irritating and simply a nightmare to listen to.
The story is great, if you can cope with the unfortunate reader.

Very poor and irritating narration

Was enjoying the story but only got 7 chapters in as I couldn’t stand the narration. Sounds either flat and bored or comically sing song depending on what’s happening, and her voice trails off to almost inaudible levels at the end of every sentence. Completely ruins the audiobook - avoid

Good story but sound is not great

I really enjoyed the story but struggled with the narrating. While I adore her voice she sometimes go softer at the end of sentences which makes it difficult to hear. I sometimes had to remind and turn up the volume to hear it.

Quite depressing

I nearly gave up on this the narrator was depressing to listen to. The final few chapters were the most exciting part of the whole book so I’m glad I persevered with it in the end

A non story

I didn’t see the point of the story? Waste of the time spent listening to it glad it was included in my membership.

Oh Frankie

So as it begins you think here we go boss / wife relationship. Then it’s babysitter and hubby, this is a book that leads you down so many paths, was it the ex, was it the friend. This story line is quite strong, I hope the author didn’t experience this personally although the way the trauma unfolds makes you believe that the person who wrote this is speaking from the heart. Found myself shouting oh no! Watch out! Listen a few times. Really enjoyed this
