Outside, I jumped into a taxi. My heart ricocheted against my ribs as we drove down the block - but at least I’d escaped unscathed.
Or so I thought.
Until I realized I’d left my cell phone behind at the table.

An Invitation to a Great Story
Loved this story I’ve read quite a few Vi Keeland books but I think this is my favourite so far. The audio version is brilliantly read by Andi Arendt and Sebastian York two of my favourite voice actors. Hudson is a strong male character who I immediately fell in love with. Stella is clever and focused and both characters have great back stories. Fisher and Oliver play interesting supporting roles in the story too.I thoroughly recommend you curl up with this book. Thanks Vi, although I did find myself up until 03.34 am with it!

LOVED THIS ONE
all the feels, beautiful story beautifully written. I feel like a lot more could have been touched on but none the less I enjoyed it so much. Especially the romantic ending

Just reread this
Firstly, I adore the narrators. They work so well together, really bring a story to life and feel genuine. Great voices, great emotion.
Then bring in a story which has fun, flirty moments and they’re perfect. But they also have the sadness, bumps and emotions covered too.
This story has all of those things, but the lead roles in this are people I’d like to know, the side characters have depth and the whole thing makes for a memorable and heartwarming story.

Amazing

Enduring tale
I just listened to this book again, probably for the third time now and still enjoy it. I’ve read and listened to a hundred or so in this genre and The Invitation is still a cracker. Storylines that hold up, characters you gotta love . I’ve owned this book for years now and will return to it again I’m sure. Thanks Vi Keeland

Love's new hope despite heartache
I enjoyed this story so much I listened to it straight through. Stella and Hudson have both been left bitter and betrayed from previous relationships. But on their initial meeting Stella and Hudson are both attracted to one another. Sebastian does a fabulous job with that sexy voice of his. I would love to award this audiobook with 10 stars. Well worth listening to ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Stumbled over this book
Loved it, this book made me smile for ear too ear, it made me laugh out loud, and the end made my tear pour out as a waterfall, im gonna definately read mote from this author..
