Just an amazing writer whose words take you to another place. I can’t praise Lord Dunsany enough. Waited a long time for audible to bring this collection to us and can’t wait for ‘the journey of the king’ to be available.
Russell D Jones has done a great job of conveying the essence of this story so I hope he has offered his services for other tales of Lord Dunsany.
I read the whole ‘book of wonder’ many years ago and do have it in audible form but the narration isn’t great or as professional and absorbing as this story has been. I hope it is offered to us in its entirety soon. Many thanks and this will be listened to many many times.
This certainly did not disappoint.
