The gentle way the story flowed

Too much thinking, dialogue doesn’t move the story fast enough. The characters are not that engrossing. On the plus side it did put me to sleep when I needed it and the performance was pretty good.

The narrator had a nice tone and did portray different voices for the separate characters but the flow of narrative and change between chapters was very stilted and felt jarring and “cut and pasted” together. As I said, it’s a good story albeit predictable
