About this listen

Bella has given up on men. Happily divorced, her latest boyfriend just omitted to tell her about his current wife, so she’s back on her own again. Then her ex-husband turns up, wanting to sell the family home in which she and their two teenage children are well settled. But all their lives are changed when a television company rents the house for a reality TV fashion makeover programme.

Against her better judgment Bella finds herself taking part in the programme, and while she learns a little bit too much about what really goes on behind the scenes, she also discovers that love can appear in the most unexpected places....

A great listen. I loved the colour analysis section when Judy said how few women can really wear black. My opinion too so that made me laugh! Also saying women over a certain age should not wear jeans, oh how true and how many women should take this to heart. Her descriptions of outfits is great, really good for a mind picture. The story is charming, and the ex husband taking a door key and being told off was another amusing bit. Lots of places where you would have the perfect retort Judy gives those retorts to the character. I must listen to this again as writing this has reminded me of a book I really enjoyed!! thank you Judy for a great story.
