Outstanding, riveting, fascinating!
I’ve read (but mainly listened) to an awful lot of stories during my time.
This is a superb story.
It is tightly written with fascinating concepts, explores the beautiful, but ever so vulnerable human condition, and builds to a climax that gives you all the answers (pun intended).
Excellent, highly recommended!

twist after twist after twist
I love this audiobook. Just when I thought I knew what was going-on, a new layer of story was revealed. superbly well structured narrative, engaging characters well delivered by Luke. A triumph

an interesting idea executed well
nicely developed and revealed central idea that stays focussed on developing the main ideas and characters in a satisfying way. shorter than expected, but that kept it engaging all the way through. would def read more from the author.

Enjoyable time tale
Luke Smitherd is on form in this one - I highly recommend it. I really like it when the author reads his or her own work on audible - cuts out all the actorisms.

The man with great stories
First of all Luke Smitherd is a great narrator and does his own characters justice in this audiobook. As author he delivers an apparently ordinary girl meets boy story quickly imbued with his own characteristic intrigue and distorted reality. A fantastical, yet also believable, plot is paced well making for an entertaining and thoughtful few hours in Mr Smitherd’s company. Thoroughly recommended.
