David R. Hawkins M.D. Ph.D
About this listen
The Map of Consciousness Explained is a compilation of Dr. David R. Hawkins’ lectures on human consciousness and their associated energy fields. Using muscle testing, Dr. Hawkins conducted over 250,000 calibrations during 20 years of research to define a range of values, attitudes, and emotions that correspond to levels of consciousness. This range of values, along with a logarithmic scale of 1 to 1,000, became the Map of Consciousness, which Dr. Hawkins first wrote about in his New York Times best-selling book Power vs. Force (1995). In the lectures on this audio download, Dr. Hawkins explains the classifications and energy fields of the Map of Consciousness, making them comprehensible and useful in daily life. With this unique higher understanding, we are able to evolve spiritually to be freer, happier human beings in all areas of our lives.
A supplemental PDF of The Map of Consciousness is included with this audio download.

don't start here
if you are a follower of Dr Hawkins then of course this is essential listening but if you are new to his work. Start with letting go the pathway of surrender. this is a compilation of lectures done before he published transcending the level of conciousness which is a far superior book to this. Though this too has gems. and it's nice to hear him speak.

Not for me on audible
...Some fascinating material in here but now i understand why so many people downvoted it on audible, tho it was nice to hear his laugh, some of it was just inaudible or difficult to make out, Interesting but would have preferred to read it. I'd definitely read any of his books i could get free.

Mostly good
I enjoyed the first half, it was obvious in retrospect, but hearing it so clearly and explicitly was absolutely worth it.
In the third quarter he lost me, when he became a bit 'judging' (equated freedom of speech with being able to kill whoever you wanted, sodomy is an aberration, etc.).
Then the last quarter he centered again.
Overall, it's worth reading for anyone who feels any kind of calling to more than just me me me me.
