Deciphering an ancient alchemy book is more difficult than Zoe Faust bargained for. A good listen
characters to care about , a growing soft spot for a gargoyle. Well read with a nice mystery in each book together with a further underlying larger mystery unraveling in the quest to save a friend. A good listen for all ages

If you start with book 1 in the series… you won’t regret it
I’ve just finished this book and am going to begin the 3rd book in the series in about 5 mins…
There’s no blood, guts & gore or gun shots and sex in these books… just a delightfully good story. I am actually quite attached to Dorian the gargoyle now…

good fun
I love Dorian and want a gormet chef gargoyle of my own!
I enjoyed this book a lot. couldn't stop listening at night and lost a lot of sleep!!

Excellent over all!
I started listening to the first book about a week ago, and this second book yesterday. Have found it incredibly difficult to "put down", so here I am at 1.30am having finished it! Looking forward to the rest of the series for sure :)

A magical cozy mystery
Excellent narration, all the food descriptions made me very hungry and the accents were solid.
Nicely written and well researched without taking itself too seriously. I really enjoyed this, and was left feeling contented and cozy.

Great listen
Loved it, couldn't put it down, just like the first book. Characters are great, particularly love Dorian! Definitely worth a listen....I'm on to book 3!😊
