About this listen
Has the "settle-for-less" financial plan become your plan for wealth? That plan sounds a little something like this:
"Graduate from college, get a good job, save 10% of your paycheck, buy a used car, cancel the movie channels, quit drinking expensive Starbucks mocha lattes, save and penny-pinch your life away, trust your life-savings to the stock market, and one day, when you are oh, say, 65 years old, you can retire rich."
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair.
Accept the Slowlane as your financial roadmap and your financial future will blow carelessly asunder on a sailboat of hope: hope you can get a job and keep it, hope the stock market doesn't tank, hope the economy rebounds, hope, hope, and hope. Do you really want hope to be the centerpiece of your family's financial plan?
Drive the Slowlane road and you will find your life deteriorate into a miserable exhibition about what you cannot do, versus what you can. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative; an expressway to extraordinary wealth capable of burning a trail to financial independence faster than any road out there. And shockingly, this road has nothing to do with jobs, 401(k), mutual funds, or a lifestyle of mediocrity.
Demand more. Change lanes and find your explosive wealth accelerator. Hit the Fastlane, crack the code to wealth, and find out how to live rich for a lifetime.

Absolute beast of a book!
Straight to the point, makes you understand the importance of attracting wealth rather than chasing wealth. Highly recommended

Can You Really Get Rich Quick?
I was recommended this book by someone I follow on Instagram. I also heard it mentioned by others on a forum so decided to check it out.
I was initially put off by the title as it just seemed like another get rich quick book.
However, being able to listen to it really helped the absorb the message in a way that led to some lightbulb moments for me.
The narration is on point using different voices and tones for different emphasis and the overall production is good.
I feel more enlightened about the process to wealth creation now and understand that whilst not easy, creating a business is a simple process that can be done in 5-6years even if like me, you're in your mid forties, it gave hope and encouragement and has opened my mind to create a much bigger vision for my life than I had previously been doing.
I've read many books on this subject and I have to say this one us up there with Rich Dad and The 4 hour work week!
See you in the fast lane!

Great listen
Enjoyable listen, real life story, well organized ideas.
Certain points get repeated again and again particularly, in the first half of the book.

Good book, covers a lot of ground.
I did enjoy this book, the first 6 hours were repetitive, however the last 6 which explains "how to" was pretty good. Similar to the 4-hour work week, he describes what is important, what is not and I found the last 3 hours to be really good and that is what this review is based on. There's similar content in a lot of books out there but ultimately he covered a lot of ground in the book which will save you buying the other 100 books I have bought. Thanks, F.
