Severn Wonders

This is a complete and informative narrative, it covers the wonders listed in the earliest texts. It is well written but sadly the narrator has a habit of pausing between words, quite a lot of urms and ahhs which sadly detract from the flow of the lectures. Having said that I learnt a lot about the Seven Wonders, I did enjoy it and would recommend it.

Fascinating

Well, having grown up when children were still given a proper education, I knew of the Seven Wonders but never, of course, in depth. Here, Professor Tobin delivers a fascinating and totally absorbing series of lectures which transport you back to the ancient world. Her breadth of knowledge is breathtaking and, to top it all, her friendly voice with a very gentle American accent is more than easy on the ear, it is quite soothing. So, all in all, I recommend this audiobook without reservation. I am very glad I discovered it.
