Summary

'A whip-smart whodunnit, this will keep you guessing' Red

'A fast-paced thriller with clever twists' Bella

Something bad happened last night. My best friend Posey is dead. The police think it was a tragic accident. I know she was murdered.

I’ve woken up with the hangover from hell, a stranger in my bed, and I’ve gone viral for the worst reasons.

There’s only one thing stopping me from dying of shame. I need to find a killer.

But after last night, I can’t remember a thing…

From the author of How to Kill Men and Get Away With It, don’t miss this wickedly witty and utterly addictive novel, perfect for fans of Bella Mackie, Dawn O’Porter and Killing Eve.

Fabulous second novel

Just like the first one, some really gritty and well written narrative. Loved the characters. Really well fought out. One of the best openings I’ve ever read in a book! And the narrator was on the whole excellent (I’ve still given it five even though there were a couple of really badly mispronounced words). Katy’s writing more than makes up for it.

Took a while to warm up but it had me in the end

A little bizarre but I really enjoyed it. It was perplexing that the death was dismissed without full investigation. Also for the police to ignore the obvious raoe is not realistic after all of the training they have had in recent years.

Brilliant

Had me hooked from start to finish. Read her previous book and was anticipating the release of this one and it did not disappoint. The narrator was a great fit too and very easy to listen to, didn’t distract from the storytelling at all. 100% recommend for you next listen. Look forward to more books from the author.

Twists and turns

Brilliant read and very current with topics that are in the news today. The power of social media and the effect it can have on lives runs through the book - the profound effect of death by suicide through harassment is both moving and deeply sad.

The twists and turns kept me hooked and liked the narration

After a bit of a slow start the pace picked up quick and was hooked after each twist and turn. Narrators voice was perfect for the role of Molly and found her really pleasant to listen to. I didn’t like the way the writer would drag out the suspense for a bit too long which I found a bit unnecessary. Overall good gripping story, will read/listen to more from this author in future.
