Well narrated, a first class plot and a classic Agatha Christie. One of the best of the genre!

I enjoyed the characters and the setting. I didn't unravel the mystery before the end so it kept my attention but I always feel a bit cheated when some facts are revealed in the summing up that haven't been revealed to the reader earlier. don't let that put you off though as there are clues along the way.

I’ve listened to a fair few Poirot mysteries on audible, and held off with this book for a while (it’s regarded as being one of the best). It’s certainly had me guessing right until the end (as they often all do) and I would indeed rank this in my top 3 Poirot stories.
Hugh Fraser does what he does best as the narrator- he owns each character and delivers everything with brilliant meaning.
Listen to this book. It’s brilliant.

Hugh Fraser's narration is always excellent. The timing and accents are just right. I'd forgotten 'who dunnit', so it was thrilling to the end.
