I found this an uncomfortable listen at times but given the subject, I can see now this was necessary.
A very interesting storyline. Very thought provoking. I found myself with more empathy for Lucia and Chloe than any other character..
I’m glad I listened to the end…it was touch and go for a while there!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. it was chosen for my craft shop's A Novel Read book club.

I did wonder at the end though how different the story would have been had he not had a good job and money,

I felt that it had a kind of 'and they all lived happily ever after' feel to it when the reality of this for a lot of people in the situation is completely different.

I didn't like the accents used - Spanish sounded like Welsh etc.

Interesting storyline not sure real life would have ended so positively. But I couldn’t put it down ….

I have never considered what these men and women go through and how sad and unhappy they must be. Read it and think about your attitudes when you next see someone you want to stare at or snigger at, I certainly will.

Not sure why there’s so much hate for the female narrator? She speaks with the passion and anger one would expect from a woman who finds out her husband wants to change genders!

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. The characters and storylines are so unique, and it’s such an interesting topic to be explored. I’ll admit my views on this matter in the past have been very narrow minded, and this book has absolutely opened my heart to the trans community. I vow to do more to protect them and their rights.

Thank you Charity Norman for another masterpiece.

The people reading the book are so annoying! Such a shame. Silly babyish voice for a child, silly voices all through. I wanted to hear the whole story but dreaded anyone overhearing it, I may as well have been listening to Peppa Pig or a children’s story read by someone’s grandparents with OTT voices throughout.
