I heard about this book decades ago and sadly I didn’t get round to reading it. I have learned a lot about victory over sin and dying to self from this theologically sound and Spirit- filled volume. It goes into detail about how to be led by the Spirit of God and the importance of self surrender in the spiritual journey. It unpacks the book of Romans very astutely and eloquently in a very helpful way and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a closer walk with the Lord. The only thing missing, in my opinion as a Catholic, was that the sacraments are not really spoken of, but it is nevertheless a very enlightening book. I also liked the narrator’s voice.
