Summary
This was Russell's first publication (1877) and written while Russell was working with N. H. Barbour. In it, Russell presents the view that Christ had already returned invisibly and "at any moment" the Bride of Christ would be taken to heaven. Russell later published Watchtower magazine, which is now published by Jehovah's Witnesses.
