Very Good
Eric Sibley is one of my favourite characters in contemporary fiction, not because he's perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but because he is so wonderfully and consistently human. He messes up and makes mistakes time and time again, never reaching the point of perfection where no further improvement is possible, but there is a slow, steady maturation through the course of these books that shows strength and moral fibre which has kept me invested in his character. I feel for him, despite his flaws, as I feel for each new character who is introduced with their warts and all. Big kudos to author Hannah Lynn on writing such a believable and strangely endearing cast of characters.
The narration is, by and large, well executed. Most of the characters sound the way I would imagine them too, and I'm not going to gripe on minor annoyances.
Overall this was an excellent listen and I look forward to more Peas and Carrots.

My goodness this is dull
My goodness this is dull and plodding. The subject matter is well worn, a man to busy at work to spend time with his family etc and the set up is rather trite as well. You can't enforce conditions in a will like this. It's just annoying and even if you put that to one side, who uses a chain saw to clear weeds!? Even if you let that slide, the payoff is just dull. A bruised big toe.
Reminiscent of tom Sharpe but without the humour
