JaCee Voice was amazing at the narration. This is my introduction to JaCee and I hope to hear more! JaCee has an easy to listen to voice. He keeps the characters easily distinguishable. I loved the sound effects and the voice altering for innner thoughts. It made the book easier to follow.

However, I didn't find the plan of making forgeries of stolen art to be that well thought out past the first transaction. There were plenty of holes in the plan and after the first exchange was made the story came abruptly came to an end without wrapping things up. I can only assume that any nagging questions I have will be addressed in the next book.
The narration was quite good except for when performing the female voice. It needs a lot of work. Another irritant was that every time a character had an inner thought, the sound went low and tinny.

Both the plot and the characters are wonderfully developed. The two main characters, Harlan and Annaliese, are compelling, fascinating, and intriguing. Circumstances pave the way for the two to wind up together and develop feelings for each other. Their connection is charged and one of mutual desire and passion, founded on honesty and respect. I adore them together, they are fiercely loyal to one another and have no silly miscommunications.
The narration by JaCee Voice is superb. I was wholly impressed by his ability to produce a broad range of tones. Despite the various characters, they were all distinguishable. The author and narrator make an excellent team. I can't wait to hear the rest of the series!
