I really liked the synopsis for this audiobook, waited for ages for it to be released to audible! it was definitely worth the wait, great story believable characters, I never saw the end coming, thought id got it all figured out, it completely shocked me, I'll be thinking about this story for a good while to come I can see me re-listened to this just to make sure I didn't miss the tiniest detail. I normally listen to a romance audiobook then a thriller, can't believe it when my favourite romance narrator teddy hamilton was narrating this thriller, under his own name. he is utterly brilliant and brought Adams character to life. cannot wait to press play on the perfect divorce! xx

This was a really fun, thrilling story. It was so twisty. Any opportunity I got I listened to it. Each page just had me gripped. The suspense had me so pumped up. I was shocked within the first 10% of listening it to it and by then I knew this it was going to be a good story.

Sarah Morgan is the best criminal defends attorney.
Her husband Adam is a struggling writer. Their marriage isn’t perfect. Adam has an affair with a married woman called Kelly.
One morning everything changes and Kelly turns up dead and Adam is charge with Kelly’s murder and Sarah decides to defend her cheating husband.

This story was real until it wasn’t. Around 60% things started to happened that wouldn’t really happen in real life and there were a few gaps in the story. I really wish this didn’t happen because it would have been a 5 star read.
Other than that I loved this. I highly recommend the audio, it’s such a fast paced story the audio was perfect.

I trudged my way through this book waiting for it to match the reviews but when I reached the chapter where the top shot lawyer attacks her friend, filling her mouth with blood, spinning her round by the hair and throwing her into a plate glass mirror. I had to give up and wish I had done so earlier. Her friend is being interviewed under caution as having something (not very concrete) to do with the lawyer's husband's charge for murder.

Absolutely awful and totally unbelievable. The narration of the guy is creepy and poor. I won't be revisiting this writer.
