His memoirs, which were originally published in al-Manhal magazine, cover his family lineage, his birth, his upbringing, his education, his travels, his travails, and his tireless efforts to spread tawhid and uproot shirk and heresies in Southern Saudi Arabia and Northern Yemen. This work is a testimony to Shaykh al-Qar'awi's patience, resolve, and adherence to the methodology of the Prophets and Messengers.

There needs to be more like this. I thank the translator and the narrator for given access to the English speaker to history, which otherwise may remain inaccessible. My hope is that there will be more.

Extremely beneficial & concise. The book was clear in its chapters and the pace of the reading was just right for comprehension & reflection. It was too short for my liking, but I enjoyed it immensely. I will be listening to this on repeat to try and maximise benefit! In shaa Allah I look forward to more books from the author.
