Critic reviews
"I have known Walter for over 30 years, and there are not many other people around with his vast knowledge of baseball. He has played professionally, he has coached collegiately, and he has had two sons who have taken different, yet both successful paths in the game of baseball—these experiences make him uniquely qualified to share his knowledge and opinions. I am most excited that Walter has put together his thoughts to pen and paper. He is a very talented father, baseball coach, and teacher who has contributed to our baseball community through a very thorough and concise piece of work. Thank you, Walter, for bettering the game and helping families through your passion for this great game." (Tim Corbin, head baseball coach, Vanderbilt University)

A comprehensive process
This audiobook is a comprehensive guide written by a former NCAA head coach who has used and validated the process himself. I find the book very helpful in preparing my son to be able to meet the selection process for college. Luckily, we've got some time to put all that I have learnt into use. Highly recommended!

Invaluable guide for parents of baseball players
What I love about this book is that it’s written by a former NCAA Head Coach and MLB player that is also a dad. He provides insight from a professional standpoint and also from being a dad who developed both of his sons to play college baseball with one of his sons actually playing for the San Francisco Giants. He provides invaluable information from all perspectives. One of the many strengths of this book lies in his coverage from little league through MLB and his focus on developing your child as a whole person, not just their skills. I loved the personal way the author addresses his listeners – the narrator did a great job conveying the message of the author. I highly recommend this invaluable guide.

brilliant guide, covers everything!
This book literally covers everything from little league to high school. Such an incredibly indepth book covering everything you need to know as a parent to get your child ready for colleague Recruits. Highly recommend! The true purpose is to help your children become successful adults. Baseball will test your children's charater and determination. This book covers everything you need to know to help your children become successful, develop into successful and determined adults and be recruit ready. This book taught me that I don't need to be writing cheques to do everything I can for my child, you just need to do the right things, following the right path. This book is a full guide on helping you establish the right things to be doing and most importantly understanding that it doesn't need to result in a big league career, getting a college education is also an incredible reward.
