I love a story which has great characters and an intriguing plot. Lee Wnter is skilled at combining mystery and romance and the sarcastic bite guarantees a laugh as well.

This is a crime-romance too with a very well written story line - when is a book written by Lee Winter not? I loved it a lot and it was very well narrated by Victoria Mei 5⭐️

What a cracking book! Such a refreshing change to read a lesbian book that has a superb and skilfully woven plot, a wide cast of credible characters, snappy and authentic dialogue without any of the 'instalove' that makes so many books in this genre dull and predictable. This is a real classic and I loved it. To be honest I wouldn't have voiced Catherine Ayers with such a drawl but that's the only slight reservation I have. Lee Winter is a very, very good writer.

Great characters once again. The performer brought both personalities to life and made you want to root for them..even the caustic queen.

The first couple of chapters are slow but after that you will not be able to stop listening. This novel has an intriguingly complex, clever, and sometimes funny, plot and great characters. It is well written, the narrator does a good job and the production values are good. I could not stop listening and cannot wait for more in the series.

Great story, clever, great characters, driven, ambitious, clever dialogue, good language choices. I am a Jericho fan and this satisfied me on the same level.

If you like this narrator then you’ll love this story. I just personally found her tone to not match previous narrators I’ve become accustomed to. Other than that loved the story!
