Second excellent story from this author
Please narrator check with someone before you do your job. Grosmont is said with a silent S........ ( say Grosmont) Great story , heard there's a third but not on audible yet

I love this series.
The reader has a wonderful voice & way of expressing all aspects of the story & different characters. I like the story lines & the believability of the characters. I hope further episodes live up to the same standard.

I really like this book.
I think that this was a great follow up to the 1st book, which was excellent. The characters are believable and likeable. The narration was brilliant.
I hope there are more eventually because I can't see my getting bored.

A good follow up to first book
A really good follow up to the first DCI Brady book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters more and the local references. A little less tension and jeopardy than the first book but still enjoyable.

I loved this book and it’s companion. I listened to them back to back. I liked the plots, the characters and the narration. I wish there was a third to listen to now!

Great new detective and his team.
After enjoying his first book I was hooked on DCI Brady and his team, I started listening to his second book straight away. This didn't disappoint, again a great story build and tense finale, along with the super narration by Luke Francis this author is a must listen. One slight, albeit annoying part of the listen for me was the pronunciation of one of the villages on the North York Moors, Grosmont. The S is silent, and is pronounced, Gromont. I know it sounds petty of me, but as a local it really grated. Hope the author has more cases for DCI Brady and please keep the same narrator.
