About this listen

A Roman soldier, Marcellus, wins Christ's robe as a gambling prize. He then sets forth on a quest to find the truth about the Nazarene's robe, a quest that reaches to the very roots and heart of Christianity. Set against the vividly drawn background of ancient Rome, this is a timeless story of adventure, faith, and romance, a tale of spiritual longing and ultimate redemption.©1942 Lloyd C. A really thought provoking book full of details that brings the gospels and the life of Jesus to life. Will strengthen your faith.

This is a fine fictional rendering of the truths expressed by the Christian . Whilst clearly a work of fiction it expresses the truths of the events which followed the death and resurrection of Jesus.

A fictional account of 1st century Christianity

Loved it

The Robe is an unmitigated shitshow that errs on all accounts: too corny, unsurprisingly preachy, entirely unconvincing, grossly inaccurate, terribly narrated and poorly edited.

Jesus effing Christ 🤦🏻‍♂️
