About this listen

The world is older than it is now.

In the future, Earth is a planet where robots and humans live in harmony together…well, most of the time.

You see, Augustus Greed is hell bent on changing all of that…and only four robots stand in his way.

Theorem, Argo, Hockney and Rush are designed to be the perfect Robot Rescue Team. But when their beloved creator goes missing, they must work together better than ever to save him, and the world that will change for the worse if they fail.

Set in a world that both does and doesn’t feel like the one we live in now, young listeners will be entertained as well as encouraged to value their own strengths.

The Robot Rescue Squad work well because they are all different, and each have their own individual gifts to offer. It is a tale of found family, courage, ingenuity, playing to your strengths, and teamwork. An uplifting and action-packed romp through a semi-robotic Earth of the future!

We listened to this on a road trip, and my 7-year-old was glued the whole time. The characters are cool, the story moves fast, and it’s got just the right mix of action and laughs. He kept yelling, “Go, Robot Squad!!” like it was a movie. I even caught myself getting into it. The villain was over-the-top in the best way, and the message about teamwork really landed. Already looking for the next one in the series.
