Good Story - distracting accents
I've now done books 1-5. Very much enjoy the story although I'll make the same note as many others that way too much time is spent on backstory. Many similar series and they don't retell everything about the main character every time.
However main gripe is the accents. Especially the American ones. They are so bad that I'm instantly out of it and annoyed. Struggled through it in the 4th, was ecstatic when 5 was back with all Brits, and then heart sank when he said, going back to the American character where he had unfinished business, and knew I couldn't listen to 8 hours of a guy holding his nose and trying to sound like fran drescher.

They Just keep getting better
The story isn't over. and I'm so glad of that, because. Sam Pope is everything I want in these types of books. He has a heart, He has a history and I want him on my side. I'm binging on Sam Pope novels at the moment (which I have never done before) Very highly recommended.

following a great start no so good imho
relay enjoyed the first box set of 3 books. Next three not in the same league. started well but trailed off by the last book. see what next Bix set brings, hopefully more of the original Sam Pope.

A man who keeps his promise
I really enjoyed how the author used different scenarios and blended them in to the overall narrative that started in previous books but still managed to keep the action going forward
