I Loved the fIrst 2 books so much i listened to them back to back and got the third right away. its a new voice actor reading the male parts and he puts on a nasaly constipated coice for the vagrant/sirus that is ruining the whole story. im only 3 hpurs in and contemplating buying the physical so i can finish it.

After finding the first 2 books okay, I wanted to at least finish the series. I wasnt totally impressed with the voice acting, with both actors mispronouncing basic English words. However, this was nothing compared to the awful amateur nature of the third book.
I could stomach it and had to return it unfinished.

I really enjoyed the first 2 books, I had no issue with the voice that the either male or female narrators used for any characters and flew through them.

But…my god I don’t know how this got the go ahead to get published, i couldn’t make it by 6 chapters, his voice for Cyrus is a mix between a prepubescent boy screeching and and some sort of badly auto tuned robot.

Quite annoyed as I was really looking forward to this one.

No disrespect to the book itself though, I will definitely continue with it but I think I’ll need to a hard copy.


Edit* attempted to continue with the book, his voice for Arn is worse than his Cyrus.
