Summary
After the brutal homicide of a woman, the Oslo Police Force know exactly whom to call: brilliant and unorthodox police investigator Harry Hole. When he suspects a link with one of his cold cases, it's a race against time to catch the elusive killer.
There's a new killer on the streets.
A woman is found murdered after an Internet date. The marks left on her body show the police that they are dealing with a particularly vicious killer.

Under pressure from the media to find the murderer, the force know there's only one man for the job. But Harry Hole is reluctant to return to the place that almost took everything from him. Until he starts to suspect a connection between this killing and his one failed case.

When another victim is found, Harry realises he will need to put everything on the line if he's to finally catch the one who got away.

Simply Excellent
Classic Nesbo, Classic Hole, possibly my favourite to date. Hopeful of many more Harry Hole adventures to come.

Harry at his very best
Would you listen to The Thirst again? Why?
Yes. The complexity and labyrinthine plots within a plot make for a very interesting and colourful story
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Thirst?
From beginning to end there are moments of tension, far too many to select just one.
Which character – as performed by Sean Barrett – was your favourite?
Harry of course. Sean Barrett has done credit to a well-crafted story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did and it was well worth it. Carrying earphones around for hours, being in another Harry world

Best Harry Hole book yet!
I loved this book. I hope it's not the last one. All the books in the series are addictive. I'll just have to start again with the Bat!

I have a thirst for more
well jo nesbo dies it again twists and turns and then twists again..... and then the cliff hanger.... read again brilliantly by the wonderful sean barrett absolutely brilliant.... so what next..... well to start again from the bat obviously. ... until the next time Harry

one of the best.

Other Harry Hole books - for obvious reasons.
What about Sean Barrett’s performance did you like?
Superb - he is Harry - especially liked his growling.
