About this listen

From Sara Scott comes the award-winning "The Touch of Her Voice," Volume One of the Jensy Willett Trilogy. A story of love, betrayal, and redemption that explores the frailties of human nature and the strength of love and forgiveness.

On the surface, Jensy Willett appears to have it all: a supportive family, good friends, and an outstanding high school and college basketball career. But beneath that surface she hides a situation that has destroyed every meaningful romantic relationship she's had. As a result she has vowed to keep that secret locked deep within her. So when she begins graduate school, Jensy decides to shun possible romance to focus on her studies, and in that way, prevent any further relationship failures. Until a chance meeting with Sophie Barnes upends Jensy's world and her promise to avoid relationships. Their attraction is immediate and intense, and Jensy begins to put her past failures behind her.

With time and care, their relationship flourishes, and over the years their love continues to grow. Until the secret that Jensy has almost forgotten, reappears and throws her perfect life into turmoil. And on one fateful afternoon, a disastrous decision threatens to bring Jensy and Sophie's idyllic love story to the brink of collapse. Will their love survive?

Joyous, touching, heartbreaking, and uplifting, the "The Touch of Her Voice" will touch your emotions.

I highly recommend this special book

Sara Scott has written a beautiful, heart wrenching novel. The writing is thoughtful and expressive which makes it just my type of romance, one where the very human characters and their emotions form the core of the story so that the reader can understand their motivation and feel both their highs and their lows. That it also contains a lot of positives and well observed depictions is an additional compliment to her storytelling craft.

Quinn Riley's sensitive narration enhances the story and brings it to another level.

I hope the rest of Sara Scott's series is made available on Audible asap - I can hardly wait.
