The small town of Haven is nestled by a mountain with a breathtaking lake and lush thick forest. One of the citizens is content with her solitary life. Jessie Hale is many things a nurse, a daughter, a sister and an aunt. Her life is uprooted in one tragic death bringing Parker Barnes-Kane into her life. Parker had lived in Haven in his youth and knew much about the town. Yet, being stuck to the nurse to his recently widowed Grandma has him struggling with new emotions.
