This is the third book I have read from this writer and I must say I enjoy his quirky looking life obviously a child of the 80s and 90s I also recommend this other box if people have not read them

I could not put this down, I didn’t want it to end! A group of players trapped in a twisted game, escape room scenario, with booby traps, my absolute favourite setting! There’s a lot of movies with it, but hardly any books, sadly! As a result, when this came out on Audible, I started it that very evening! I absolutely loved the science fiction aspects of it, and when the scythe came out of the wall, I knew I was in for some gory times! Sure enough, this book did not disappoint!
Just like any good author can do, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions, from sadness when a character I liked fell, anger at one of the characters I absolutely hated, (I think you will too,) 😊 and Hanks even included a dash of humour, I chuckled a few times.
If you enjoy, like me, a group trapped in an escape room type setting, or game, you’ll love this too! The futuristic, science fiction feel to it is also excellent. A group of totally random strangers who don’t know each other, have never met before and from all different walks of life, just thrown together, and are literally playing for their lives.
Really well narrated too, Elliott! He has a brilliant voice for this, I’m going to see what else he’s read! In summary, can’t rate this audiobook highly enough.
