About this listen
Sketch artist Tino Ciccotelli is passionately dedicated to helping victims of violent crime. For years he's translated their descriptions of attackers into "WANTED" posters. While listening to the victims' pain is emotionally draining, Tino accepts this as part of the job--until he discovers that he and his newest client have a personal connection. He is devastated to see Dorothy's injuries and determined to help the police catch her attacker, but he must also deal with the return of her niece, his first love who left him when their lives were just beginning.
Charlotte Walsh has always regretted leaving Tino. Her fear of being stuck in marriage like her parents' drove her away from Tino and his dreams of a house with a white picket fence. Her life did not play out as she'd expected and, after an assault by a stalker, she has returned to Philadelphia, only to have her aunt targeted for violence.
Now she and Tino must work together to find the man who left her aunt for dead, but they soon realize the killer's true target is much closer than they think.

Tino draws too well
Tino is very good as an artist drawing pictures of criminals for the police. He has a new lady to draw a picture from her description. The lady was a teacher of his way back when. He has to deal with the anger at what has been done to this older lady. He has to deal with an emotional meeting with the lady’s niece - his first love. Charlotte or Charley as she had been in school and high school.
Was his love and his best friend. They went there separate ways and haven’t seen each other since.
The plot thickens and twists. I do like the fact that Tino has been in some of the other books and he now has his own story. Thank you.
I didn’t enjoy the audible as much the voice wasn’t quite right.

Catch up with a repeat character
A shorter story than usual but definitely a Karen Rose story. Slightly predictable but with a slight twist.

Great story but difficult to listen to.
If you're like me and you're fussy about narrators, you may find this one a bit grating. I struggled to really get into this book as the narration was distracting. A nice little story to round off Tino's arc.
