I love listening to Sebastian York and he excelled himself with this one and his dirty talking hero! I am not so sure about Lucy Rivers. Sometimes her high pitch tone really grates.

So far as the story was concerned, I am fine with arranged marriages, but the FMC was so irritating with her incessant insecurities, bearing in mind her husband was already her best friend!

As for the sister and mother, I don't think these characters could have been more toxic had they tried and I failed to see why the father couldn't have intervened to alleviate this more.

It was one of those story’s that fortunately captured the romantic in me… it was cute, with a good story. Plus Angsty-aaannnndddd … I forgot to mention; very sexy indeed (smiling) 🥰

It was a (slow burn 🔥) for those who like those types of stories,and fare warning; for those readers who happen to dislike those types of stories … as I’m aware there are plenty of you guys going around. And yet being one of the latter - as mentioned above, I can say there was saving graces of hints of sexiness all around to sate the parched pallet… fortunately, thank you Jesus 🙌🏾 🤭

Of course as a bonafide Sebastian Yorky fan, I went into this to get my fix of his totally sexy narration and sure as hell got it. The chapters was quick and to the point, reason being, no crazy over thinking or mental gymnastics by the characters either, another plus.
Duo narration is the thing going forward … however (Lucy Rivers) the narrator of the female protagonist took something to get use too… (jury still out on her) 🤔 however, nothing Sebastian’s sexy voice can’t fix mmmm.
First time reading this author and I must admit it was pleasantly good.
Good … not necessarily mind blowing, fantastically breathtakingly (yada yada) … y’all get what mean… never mind, it was good. And Good is still Good, can’t take that away from this story. It only get a 4 stars from me because like I mentioned afore, I’m not a (slow burn) person. And I wasn’t to sure about Lucy Rivers narration.
Other than that… I’m sure many have & will appreciate this story presented. Well, that’s it from me, enjoy & …

CM always amaze me with her writing. Showing the depth of feelings between the main characters (especially love the cave-man possessive in Ares!) and the strength of each character just enough to grasp my interest to continue listening and get emotionally involved! Love love love the duet narration and SYork is my most favourite male narrator. He brings the character Ares to live!! 🥰

So emotional. I love stories like these, those that can make me feel so strongly for a character. I cried and cried and cried, it was a heart wrenching yet beautiful story. I absolutely loved it!

The narrators did a fantastic job with the emotions of their lines, I truly felt them so it really complimented the author's work.

If all of the author's stories are of this quality, I predict that I will become a huge fan. Really great work from everyone. The only complaint that I had in my mind, is that I didn't want it end. It's bittersweet when you really enjoy a story isn't it?
