I would prefer to read but listening saves time.

He himself. I was fascinated by his line of reasoning and making connections which I would never thought of.

Not your usual book. Part autobiography, part commentary or history even. There are plenty of interesting factoid gems in the narrative and Daniel (also narrator) seems to have had some interesting times in his life which is dominated with numbers and his relationship to them.



I was surprised at how well the abstract concepts of numbers are articulated and relayed. I took a lot of new insight from the book and have quite honestly despite years of having been taught maths up to undergraduate level, never encountered someone that delivers this understanding so well! This book completely changed my relationship with Pi and it probably will do for you too!



Definitely a refreshing alternative to whatever your usual genre is!

found it difficult to understand which points the author is trying to make in his wandering thoughts, jumping from one topic to another. couldn't finish it. nice soothing voice though

possibly for me to complete the book. the topic is very interesting but the delivery poor.
