I couldn't fault Ramon de Ocampo's depiction of any of the characters. He was the perfect narrator.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It isn't often I say this, but I will probably listen to this book again. I am sure it will make me laugh just as much as it did at my first listen.Hilarious

The story begins with the protagonist's detailed description about his soon to be ex-wife having sex with his boss (who is a sexual relationship advisor on the radio).
Later during the shiva, the protagonist remembers he had sex with his sister-in-law before she got married to his brother. Another brother, or it could have been the same one (I had lost interest) was overheard having sex with his wife.
We are then treated to the sexual appetite of his mother, who we are told had previously enjoyed the attentions of his father (the deceased) and was now responding to the covert attentions of a widower who had called to pay his respects. The implication being they would be having an intimate relationship as soon as the shiva was over.
The story, that I listened to, was one dimensional and so, obviously, boring.
