About this listen
Can they trust each other enough to survive the dangers that confront them?
“Tis a truth I must warn ye of. I love ye, and tis brutal that ye are alive three hundred years away.” (Magnus, 1702)
Magnus and Kaitlyn try to begin their life together but there are dangerous forces that must be reckoned with. A time-journeying vessel that they can't seem to control. And a long history that stands between them.
Magnus has found love and a home in 2017 - but what happens to Kaitlyn if she travels to 1702?
“I’m right here, on you, flesh and blood. I am yours, and time and space don’t matter. We transcend. That is the truth of it.” (Kaitlyn, 2018)
A contemporary romance with even more 18th-century history and a bit more sci-fi, Time and Space Between Us is the second book in the Kaitlyn and the Highlander series.
If you love mysterious, sexy, hunky heroes with desperate hearts and romantic thoughts, heroines with courage who are also very ordinary disasters, and love stories that encompass all time, then you’ll love this romantic series. Listen on as Kaitlyn and Magnus begin to trust each other by getting a copy of this audiobook today.

Second in series
This is not a stand alone book in that you have to have read Kaitlyn and the Highlander first. Their story continues beyond book 2, but I actually think book 2 ends in a good place.
I also liked the characters a lot better in the second book than in the first book. They seem to have mostly grown up, though there is a reference to "being a grown up and quitting after my shift" that made me think most responsible grown ups would give two weeks notice.
Keira Stevens does a great job with the narration making it really easy to listen to the story. I don't speak Gaelic so I have no idea if she's doing it right, but I give her a lot of credit for making it sound easy.
If you made it through the first book, I would recommend listening to this one.

Developing characters and getting to know them
The journey continues, character development and setting the scenes- so many exciting adventures ahead in this series. This is a re-read for me and I don’t do that often- I just revisit my favourites.
I encourage you to enjoy the journey!
First read was the written word, and as a Scot I could imagine the accent. In audible I did not think I would cope with the “American “Kiera’s interpretation of our Scottish tongue, until you realise it’s Kaitlyn’s lovely voice telling the story and her take on the Scots accent.
Shane East in subsequent books tells from Magnus and has an excellent Scottish accent and fits with my Magnus perfectly.
Enjoy the escapism and the adventure!

Time and Space Between Us
Book 2 picks right back up. Kaitlyn and Magnus head home for him to heal. He has been gone for months. But he knows he must go back immediately. As they prepare and have a plan in place someone else arrives in their time and Kaitlyn accidently goes back with Magnus. This series is so fun and keeps you on your toes. Their is still a lot of mystery, plenty of action and romance. Although you feel as if you are missing details, you don't feel left out, because you are searching for the same answers the characters are. Keira Stevens dose a fantastic job with the narration and the accents. Her characters are clear and wonderful. Thanks AudioBook Obsession for the recommendation.

Better than the first
I enjoyed this book more than the first. We dive deeper into Kaitlyn and Magnus's relationship and really get to know them. The title is perfect for this story as time and space do keep them apart. long distance romances ar so hard, imagine addin in the factor of time. Each trip is dangerous and when Kaitlyn has to return without Magnus, she has no way to know what is going on. I felt her relief as he returned to the present, or the future. The jumps were smooth and not confusing in this book. Kaitlyn and Magnus really did grow a lot together. I did understand kaitlyn more in this installment and was able to really enjoy her story.
Keira Stevens once again narrated this story with a wonderful performance. Keeping the characters consistent made the flow between the two books seamless. Keira really brought Kaitlyn to life in this installment. Kaitlyn's strength and will was made apparent from the narration. I cannot wait to hear more in this series and from Keira.

Better!
This book was better than the first. While I feel like Kaitlyn did grow some she still is a very irritating and immature character. I'm hoping by the third book she will have grown on me but the jury is still out. I did still enjoy the storyline and other characters. I want to see where it all goes from here. 🎧AudiobookObsession

Kaitlyn and the Highlander continuation
Diana Knightley has written a great book with Time and Space Between Us. I loved how it took up where the first book left off. The characters are more rounded, and have grown. Magnus and Kaitlyn have quite the adventure. Keira Stevens was wonderful bringing them to life. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for this great recommendation.

Getting better and better
This book has a lot more going on than the first which is understandable as the first book was laying all the groundwork. This book is all about the action and adventure. Good to see the leading lady getting stronger. Great narration.

Excellent continuation of the series
I really like this series. This one focuses a lot on the emotion of loss and fear associated with loss because Magnus has to go back in time. I really liked this book because it was a poignant representation of the fear of running out of time. Magnus must return to his time so that they can keep the vessels from the hands of evil. During a fight, Kaitlyn accidentally gets transported with Magnus to his time. Can their relationship thrive in a different time filled with danger and intrigue? And how do they both return safely in such dangerous times, against Magnus' foes.
This is a great series and this story is extremely intriguing because they both have to deal with the challenges associated with them being from different times and especially, because Magnus' world is so dangerous. There is a lot of action, intrigue and this book was so interesting, I didn’t want to put it down. I’m looking forward to the other books in this series.
I have to say that even though I typically prefer having a male and female narrator, I’m extremely impressed with Keira Stevens and actually did not miss a male narrator. She does the accent so beautifully and kept me entranced.
