Editor reviews

Touchy and Feely is a Graham Masterton classic. The author provides a boundless amount of detail, an explicit sex scene, and a number of well-defined misfit characters. Masterton is a master at pacing himself, making this, like many of his other books, irresistible and addicting.Touchy and Feely is the first book in the Sissy Sawyer series. The Connecticut police are desperate for answers about a recent string of murders. Who are the killers? Why are they targeting these victims? Sissy Sawyer has a supernatural ability that makes her essential to solving this case. Liza Ross' lively reading transports the listener into Masterton's world of horror and mystery.

Interesting series start police procedure and fortune teller with well thought out locals as well criminals

Tracking a vigilante by police and fortune teller

As far as first installments go, this was quite intriguing; interesting, well proportioned characters with a touch of the occult thrown in. However, the ending was a little simplistic and left no room for any rationality. Then I went ahead and read the second in the series and... oh dear.

A promising beginning

So, this is an interesting one, Sissy has a son named Trevor and he has a wife named Jean and a son named Jake HOWEVER, they become Molly and Victoria in the second book in this so called series so my assumption is that this story was written without any intention of a follow up.

That aside, the story is intriguing enough to have kept me listening, even if I were not fully engaged throughout, would I recommend you spend a credit on it though? No, I probably would not, it really is not that good, but books 2 and 3 are certainly worth a credit, I've not yet reviewed them though so judge for yourself, buy them, and review.

Love the narration

G Masterson with yet another creepy and great written tale. The narrator did the book justice as well 👍

Masterfully creepy!

I enjoyed the storyline but the language written seemed a bit childlike and the reading wasn't my favourite.

Enjoyed the story but written like a child

Enjoyable series of books, different and a bit paranormal, Not at all like the Katy Maguire series.

Enjoyable series of books

Read book 2 and 3 and forget this one, it’s mediocre and not necessary to read, the next books are much more interesting and fun, over the top but that’s what makes them interesting

Not worth reading

I’ve listened to this audiobook as I’d just finished the Katie Maguire series by Graham Masterton.

It’s fair to say Touchy and Feely is a million miles away from the Katie Maguire series. But I actually really enjoyed the audiobook.

It was a great story, although the ending seemed a bit rushed, which was disappointing.

I must say that the narrator Liza Ross was outstanding. Her performance was brilliant, she brought every character to life.

I’m definitely going to listen to the next audiobook in the series.

A Great Crime & Supernatural Thriller Story

No way I could finish this, listening to Mr M create a character who has found long words! Boring boring boring. I have always been a fan, but this just annoyed me. You've let me down Graham

Couldn't stand it

I tried to enjoy this book but struggled to work out which genre it was trying to be. I actually found the story rather banal and the book dull over all. There were no big surprises or cliff hangers and it just plodded along with characters who were mainly uninteresting. I would probably give this one a kiss

Not the easiest to get in to and rather dull
