About this listen
It's not against any formal rule for us to sleep together.
It is, however, strictly forbidden to have feelings for each other.
I can't do one without the other at this point.
Which means I am doomed.
When you don’t know who you can trust, reality distorts. It twists and oozes, disintegrating and reformulating to meet whatever needs its masters demand.
Just like me.
Just like Kina.
Except everything is different now that we know who we really are.
But there’s a second reality, you see.
This one can’t be manipulated.
It just is. Solid and true, it takes our mission, our training, our orders, turning them into nothing but secrets and lies.
And this new reality means my old reality is trying to kill everything I love.
Including her.
Traceless is the second book in USA Today best-selling author Meli Raine's new Stateless trilogy.

Book 2 is even better
I was engrossed with book 1, but book 2 had me hanging onto every word. I had to rewind on the narration because people kept talking to me at work, and interrupting. The narration was excellent. The ending was OMG. and the story flowed really well. The descriptions were really rich and made you feel like you were right there. I can't wait for book 3.

Wow
Wow. That would be my first impression of this second book in this series. If you thought book one’s ending had you left hanging, then hold on for this one. So much happens in this book, as these two learn more about what’s truly going on. Joe and Andi do an amazing job with the narrative yet again!

New Adult Dystopian Thriller
Part 2 of a trilogy, Traceless is a modern New Adult dystopian story, that picks up the plot immediately where the previous book left us.
This story finished on a nail-biting cliffhanger with Kina and Callum trying to free themselves from Stateless. As with book 1, this novel has a lot of tension, paranoia, and suspicion threaded throughout. I really did not know who was genuine and trustworthy in this novel, and by the end I was definitely on the edge of my seat and gripped by this thoroughly absorbing and engaging plot. There are questions and hopefully answers to be found in the next installment, which I cannot wait to get into.
If you enjoy New Adult dystopian fiction then this will definitely be a series worth listening to. The narrators really brought this story to life.

Still a very interesting series
What a thrilling continuation! The plot thickens–as well as other things, because Kina and Callum’s relationship deepens in this book.
It can be a bit confusing, because there are conspiracies inside the conspiracy… You never really know who’s with whom, and who you can trust. There’s also a lot of action and tension. You can’t be bored while reading this second installment.
As for the romance part of the story, if Kina and Callum are still restrained by years of training, their encounters with people outside of Stateless, but who know about the organization, help them cut their puppet strings one by one, until they start thinking by themselves. That means they no longer think their relationship is forbidden, though they still have troubles expressing themselves. It feels like doomed love, but I hope I’m wrong. At least it’s getting sexy.
Narration is still on point, though there are some sound problems in the male narrator’s parts. Sometimes, it doesn’t even sound like him.
Still a very interesting series, I’m diving right into the third book!

The next chapter
As this story continues, more information comes out. Callum is back and finds Kina watching the children. There is a disruption in Callum's faith now that he has been exposed to the outside world, and though Kina is curious, she is devoted to the children. They are her priority. Excitement, murder, information leading to identities and truths, this installment of the series is high suspense and lots of action Meli Raine is pouring out political intensity, and finding just how deep Stateless goes. It's a wild ride and I am looking forward to the last book in the trilogy. Continued narration by Andi Arndt and Joe Arden is just a bonus with this story, keeping the anxiety level high. I am loving it!

Book two is just as good as book one. I really like the way these characters are developing. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. As always Joe Arden and Andi Arndt did an amazing job. 🎧AudiobookObsession

My LANTA! My heart rate was through the roof!!
Woahhh! I thought it couldn't get more action, more sinister than it was in Stateless. I should have known better! What I really loved about Traceless is that we're starting to untangle the mess that Stateless made of my mind!! Plus the energy and anticipation level is building and it's nearing the climactic cessation...you can just FEEL the build! Prepare for a chaotic, racing heart because this book is a HUGE BUILD-UP!!! I sure hope you have the final book waiting... i know i do!!
These two narrators can do no wrong in my eyes! I love them together and consistently enjoy their portrayals of the various characters they play. This story is layered and drenched in doubt and misdirection. Joe Arden is Cullum now and I'm slightly obsessed. Andi Arndt is one of the best female narrators out there currently. Her voice always works for the woman she's presenting. She seems to channel them flawlessly. She became Kina... insecure and kind of meek but with this steely spine that comes out when it needs too... and it really needs to in Traceless.
