About this listen
Tremarnock is a classic Cornish seaside village where Liz has found sanctuary for herself and her young daughter, Rosie. From early in the morning with her job as a cleaner till late at night waitressing in the restaurant, Liz works all the hours God sends to provide for them both.
But trouble is waiting just around the corner. As with all villages, there are tensions, secrets - and ambitions.

Not what I expected
I was expecting the Cornish setting to be an integral part of this book, but it isn’t at all. It could have been set almost anywhere, so the title is misleading. The story is engaging enough, the characters largely sympathetic, the plot fairly predictable though overly drawn-out in places. It’s an unchallenging summer read that will fill a few hours but it won’t change your life.

Heartwarming
Such a lovely story of triumph over tragedy and the power of forgiveness. My first book by Emma Burnstall and look forward to reading others.

A steady & gentle listen - a good all rounder
I liked that this book has enough content to keep you engaged but wasn't too complicated that you could dip in and out and listen without too much concentration. Well narrated, well worth a listen.

Tears and laugher all rolled in to one!
After listening to several samples I chose this book and I loved it! A simple, yet very believable story which could happen to anyone. The reader certainly brought the book to life and her narration was very in touch with the authors text. Can't wait until next month to read another book by Emma.

Brilliant!
If you could sum up Tremarnock in three words, what would they be?
A wonderful story to loose yourself in, can't wait for book 2

lovely story .
I loved everything about this book. I love a bit more romance in stories but anyway, at least it was a happy ending for everyone.

Fantastic hart felt read
I really loved this book, couldn't put it down.
I finished reading it with in five days.
I hope one day there is a part two....
The book is about a mum and her little girl.
The mum is a Single parent bringing up Rosey who has a disability.
Unfortunately Rosie gets ill and all the people in the Village help out.
However there some great twists and turns in the book.
I don't want to give to much away.
The character is was fantastic.
My favorites where, Rosey, Lizzie, pat, Robbert and love day....
