About this listen

Asher Stone before: tormented, soulful, and intriguing

Asher Stone after: angry, spiteful, and cruel

I fell for him before we met, but I made a mistake he won't forgive. Asher Stone thinks he can bully me, but he doesn't know me. The girl he wrote those letters to is gone. I'm not the girl he wanted, but he won't leave me alone.

Asher & Cora

Trouble was my first Suzana Thompson book. I like a good enemies to lovers story but somehow I missed the bully romance part when reading the blurb and thought it was a second chance romance. This is on me and not the author.
The book is set in the main characters high school years and therefore many of their decisions and actions are made with some degree of immaturity. Although this annoyed me (says my 35 year old brain) I congratulate the author as I probably would have reacted the same way as them when I was 17/18 years old. Specially if I had the money some of them have in that fancy expensive school.
