Truly incredible
I downloaded this book just before going on a 2 day retreat and it has formed the backbone of my spiritual lessons. Every chapter is informative and well written and provides a great balance of theory, reference to spiritual texts, application of the theory in a modern context, and poignant questions and affirmations to solidify what has been learnt.
I would very much recommend the book to spiritual seekers and I will be looking out for other resources by the same author.

Explained beautifully
The author explains patanjali yoga in a simple, straight forward way. I have come away with key takeaways on how everything is linked through asanas, breathing, thinking and being conscious of our behaviour in leading a fulfilled life. Thank you Jennie and guru Paramhansa Yogananda 🙏

Lovely succinct book on the 8 limbs of yoga
This book explained the limbs of yoga in a very simple and applicable way. I read just after my mother passed away so the authors epilogue was so heartfelt and touching. Just slow down the audio speed if you find it too fast which I had to do.

True yoga by Jennie Lee
A beautiful way of sharing a personal story through universal truths. I would recommend the title to beginners, more advanced, or inquisitive practitioners. Jennie did a good job at narrating the book.

A lot of information given directly.
This audiobook inparts a considerable amount of information about the 8 limbs of yoga. It is clear, and may lead you to consider your responsibility to yourself which can only be a good thing. It's included in your audible subscription, you should invest time with it.

Should have employed someone to read the book
The content was great however I felt the performance was lacklustre. It needed someone who could slow down and place a little more emphasis on important words to allow them to think in for the listener. I’m very familiar with yoga but most of this book was inaccessible because of the monotone voice of the reader.
