Ruth Cardello does it again. This series just gets better and better.

This book is about Charles Dery and Melanie Hanna. We have met Charles and Melanie in the first book Taken, Not Spurred. This book is one hard decision after another for the 2 main characters. I have loved Melanie since the first book and she says what is on her mind. I wasn't a huge fan of Charles from the first book but I have slowly warmed to him during this book. All of characters from the first book are here and loads more.

Charles and Melanie make decisions that affect them and everybody around them. New York and Texas are places I want to visit because of this book. Charles doesn't want a family, he just wants Melanie. Melanie wants Charles but has to put her son first.

Love this story!!!

I would recommend any of Ruth Cardello books.

I liked this book it hinted at everyday issues we all face and how we deal with them at the time. I would like to see a story about Tanner later on on how he turned his life around with his second chance.

Very good storyline.narrator was funny and was quite good.The storyline was quite interesting.it can be listened to as a standalone but it is better to listen to the first book in the series as the characters come up in this second book and the first book tells how Charles and Melanie met which is what this story is about. I can hardly wait to read and listen to the third book in the series. brilliant.
