A new job and a hot but grouchy boss for Christmas.

Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn't off to a good start. Her first assignment - decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby - results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company's second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper.

A title by Jae is never disappointing and narrated by Abby Craden makes it even better. I liked the characters and the story and the way Jae uses characters from other stories in the narrative.

as a stand alone this story is superb. I love the characters storyline and humour, a page Turner as they say and adding the incredible Abbey Craydens sensual voice to Jaes' genius this is a must buy in the genre.

An excellent listen which you would expect with Abby Craden narrating. But more than that, the book was beautifully crafted from the first to the last chapter. This is the first book of Jae’s that I have listened to, but it will not be the last. Characters were stunning, and I had a special feeling for the pet bird and it’s colourful vocabulary. This book kept giving, and I thoroughly recommend it.
