I found the story very true to what can be seen in society at present, adults on phones all the time , children on phones and electronic games. No interaction between them , the children rule the parents and the parents appear to have little or no interest in the children , only in so far as what they can gain by having a child. Children ( not kids …kids are young goats) should only be bought into this world if they are wanted for themselves not as accessories like a new handbag or because your friend has one. Neither child in the story was receiving undivided love from either parent , one is quiet and withdrawn the other naughty , not surprising really. I enjoyed the story in an oh dear sort of way knowing that a lot has to change before anything alters.
