The story had me fully engrossed throughout. An impoverished brother and sister living with the imprisoned step brother being released and exacting revenge. Working within the justice system eventually enabled her some protection and romance. It was well written. I particularly liked that the story continued after the relationship was secure so that you stayed with the characters and discovered what were the consequences of their marriage.
