I would never have guessed it would become so dark at the end.
I liked the narration too by Gerald Allison.

Lucinda, is a driven journalist, who goes looking for Henry hoping to improve her career. The romance between them stumbles, when Lucinda forces Henry to leaves his home to go to New York.
This is an wonderful book. With both characters having depth.

It started well, but I soon struggled to follow along, it kind of all blended together at points.
Not sure if this was to do with the narration as although he had a nice voice, it was almost like it was rushed and not performed. I had to check I hadnt increased the speed accidentally.
Maybe I would enjoy reading the book more.
