Mars Xi is a living weapon, a genetically manipulated psychic supersoldier with a body count in the thousands, and all she wanted was to be left alone. The sinister bog story behind the tragic small story comes further into focus.

This very well done. Victims of a ruthless and power-hungry state machine get a further glimpse of just how bad things really are. And also have to deal with the possibility that they themselves might be worse. Lightly told, for the modt part.
