I read Wait With Me upon its release and I have been eagerly waiting for the audio version because I knew with the right narrators, this was going to make a great audio book. From the humour and banter through to the uncertainties and self-doubts, the narrators, Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, do an excellent job in bringing these characters to life.

I enjoyed the male and female voices from Erin and Teddy respectively. The tone and pacing was also great. This is an audiobook I will definitely keep active on my Audible shelf to listen to when I need a pick-me-up. Highly recommended.

Having read about Amy Daws' real life shenanigans at her local tyre store, I've been waiting to see how that experience translates into a book. Now having read Wait With Me, I think Daws did the right thing in setting up shop there because this book was a fun, sexy and swoon-worthy book.

Kate is a great heroine. She's made a few mistakes in her life but her head is screwed on straight...except when she takes unusual steps to overcome writer's block. She crosses paths with Miles, whose curiosity is aroused by this frequent visitor to his workplace. Miles makes a worthy hero. Over a year after coming out of a tumultuous relationship, he is looking only for casual hook ups. And as much as he enjoys helping Kate with her book "research", he can't help feeling more than casual. As these two spend more time together, the further they fall in love. Their adventures are lots of fun and their sexy times are of the scorching-the-sheets variety. .

And if a great romance isn't enough, Daws provides a few extra laughs as she pokes fun at authors and her author self... And I can't believe I fell for it but I did look up "emongry" on Urban Dictionary. It's not there but it should be.

If you need a light book to make you smile and lift your spirits, Wait With Me ticks all the boxes.

P.S. I hope this book eventually makes it onto audio. It would be a great book to listen to. [ <<<< How about that? My wish came true.]

Amy Daws has done it again! With a story like this, it is so easy to get drawn in, it's hard to stop listening. And then people are wondering why you are smiling for no apparent reason, but you know...Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are telling you this amazing story in your ear!. Kate is an erotica writer who has lost her voice. When waiting for her car to be serviced, she is hit with sudden inspiration. To keep the flow going she continues going and literally bumps into Miles, one of the mechanics. Who knew he would be her muse? These two characters are written so well, the magic is real. Daws has a winner with Miles, a blue collar, very normal man. It is so refreshing having this, he's not a billionaire, but a man who has been hurt in the past, hardworking and so incredibly sexy. Kate(Mercedes) is such a energetic, amusing and full of passion for her work and for Miles. The combination of these two along with the supporting cast of Dean, Megan, and Lynsey, you too will fall in love with this funny, hot and passionate story.

What a narration team this book has! Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton together are magic. They truly bring this story to life with wonderful voices and incredible comedic timing. It is one not to miss!

I loved this, the characters were so well described that I felt like I was being introduced the narrators definitely helped this feeling by giving all the characters their own voices. The story had a really nice flow that certainly kept my attention (well Past when I should have been sleeping) definitely a really well written book can’t wait to read more

I loved reading Wait with Me when it was released on kindle, so of course I was thrilled to get this release on audio to have a listen to the story this time around instead. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton have done a wonderful job bringing to life Miles and Kate.

I enjoyed experiencing this story again, and these two narrators were perfect for this story. They really portrayed the characters and emotions so well. As with reading the book, there were parts of this story where Amy herself really shone through, and I had a good old giggle at different particular moments, because hearing them brought to life, compared to in my head, was great. 

I'm not a huge audio listener, but it was fun listening to this on my drives to and from work. 

There's really not too much to say about this, apart from the story is fabulous and so are the narrators. Highly recommend.

I have read and listened to this book!
So easy to listen to.
The story follows Kate writer who is struggling to write her next book until finds the customer centre at her local tyre shop and Miles a mechanic at said shop.

Both of them have issues Kate still lives with her ex as he refuses to leave and Miles has just got rid of his toxic ex and doesn't feel like he can be in a relationship now.

But can Kate get rid of the ex? Can Miles get over the way his ex treated him?

Kate Smith (aka Mercedes Lee Loveletter is an Erotic Romance writer and unfortunately has got a touch of writers block, well I say a touch, but nothing has popped into her head for ages and she needs to get the final installment with her International best selling Bed & Beakfast series out on the shelves ASAP.

She finds her Nirvana one day when she pops into the Tire Depot to get some work done on her car.

While she is in the Customer waiting room sipping on the complimentary coffee and munching on the freshly baked cookies, she manages to get thousands of words down on a page!

After borrowing friends, and families cars to take back to the Tire Depot, Kate finds her writing mojo again….the thing is she runs out of cars to take in!

What’s a girl to do, apart from sneak into the employees entrance and pretend to be waiting!

As ninja like as Kate thinks she is, she isn’t! And it doesn’t take long for her to be spotted by Miles, an employee at the Depot.

Miles…..sigh Miles……Book boyfriend alert!!

Miles has a little bit of baggage from a failed relationship and isn’t looking for anything serious.

Kate has recently split from her ex who is currently still residing at the house in the basement refusing to leave, hence the writers block and the bad Joojoo.

After some hilarious near misses at the Tire Depot ( The pizza delivery had me howling with laughter) Miles and “Mercedes” start a friends with benefits relationship, all for book research obviously!

The witty one-liners and even the secondary characters in this book were just perfect, I loved every second of listening to this book.

Narration what can I say about the narration?

Well let’s just say it was hot, I mean steaming hot!!

You have the gorgeous honey-like tones of Teddy Hamilton (who can come and whisper in my ear ANY day of the week!) mixed with the sexy gorgeous voice of Erin Mallon, what’s not to love?
