Ein Fanatiker, der sich in einem Bekennervideo als "Abgesandter" bezeichnet, hat Handgranaten in den Nachtclub geworfen. Fünf Menschen werden getötet und viele schwer verletzt. Kommissar Henrik Oksman von der Kripo in Pori übernimmt die Ermittlungen. Oksman war kurz vor dem Anschlag jedoch auch in dem Club - wovon niemand etwas wissen darf. Der Anschlag sorgt für große mediale Aufmerksamkeit. Im Internet verbreitet sich das Bekennervideo wie ein Lauffeuer, und die Foren quillen über vor Mutmaßungen, ob der Täter weiter morden wird. Und genau das muss Oksman verhindern: einen weiteren Anschlag.
