The experience listening to this book was utterly immersive. I am still finding myself processing We That Are Young. The narrative is complex, insightful, deeply rooted in the past, yet with premonitions of a future without change. Humour to the point of flippancy and the ridiculous prevents outrage from tipping over the edge. The narration was excellent and this too helped with the flow and vivid imagery. Thank you.

A colourful set of views into an alien world, written very descriptive. but I had trouble identifying with the protagonists and getting into the narrative. Worth the time but only just..

really couldn't get into the narrative

I only lasted 10 mins of this dreadful narration. The narrator sounds so bored it's like he's doing a sarcastic parody. He rushes through without understanding or transmitting any of the poetry. Why on earth didn't they find a narrator who actually enjoyed the book?! 20 hours of torture for everyone. Sorry but, if you want to enjoy this book you'll have to read it the old fashioned way.
