About this listen
Making decisions I regret is basically a hobby. So I guess it really wasn’t that surprising when I went out on a date with an Elite. And then he tried to assault me.
I might be small, but I’m strong. I fought him off...then went straight to the dean. He didn’t believe me. No one does. And now my date from hell is in revenge mode, and I somehow end up in the campus pool.
Did I mention I can’t swim?
Lucky for me, a knight in shining armor saves me from drowning. Except he’s not wearing shining armor. He’s naked. And he’s also Elite.
Seriously, what is up with these Elite swimmers?
Of course, I have no intention of ever seeing his very good-looking, naked highness again. Elite obviously can’t be trusted.
Until he wraps me in his hoodie and promises to believe me. Now I’m drowning again—but this time in his enigmatic cobalt eyes and addictive touch.
My only oxygen is him. I think I maybe could fall in love.
But will he keep his promise when I tell him the truth about his teammate? Or will trusting Ryan with my heart and my life be just another decision to regret?

Romantic Suspense / Sports Romance
Wet by Cambria Hebert is a romantic suspense sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Celia Stone and Oliver Highpoint. This is the first book in the Westbrook Elite series.
This is the first book of Cambria's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Rory and Ryan. I loved that we got both of their points of views throughout the book.
I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Wingspan so I can get Jamie and Madison's story.
Oliver and Celia did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like romantic suspense, college romances, or sports romances.

The voices was easy to listen to and great way to listen to this author.
It was a lovely story of instant chemistry, an elite with a photographer.
I loved that there wasn’t too much waiting for them to be a couple and I loved there was more to the story. I enjoyed it.

Fantastic romantic suspense!
Being an "Elite" has its advantages, right? That is what Jonas believes. When he takes Rory, a school paper photographer out, he thinks he can take advantage of her. But she fights back, gets free and reports him. Does the dean take it seriously? No, he is and Elite! Getting proof is the next step, but when he catches her, there is more on the line. Pushing her into the pool would have led to her death if Ryan had not been there. He too is an Elite, but after hearing her story and feeling the connection between them, he is going to do what he has to keeping her safe. Ryan and Rory have an immediate attraction and their feelings just keep building. But Jonas does not let her alone, and Ryan is on constant alert. Will Jonas finally get her? Will the dean believe Jonas is the predator he is? Does being Elite protect him from everything? I dove deep into this story(yes it's a pun) into this one. It pushes all the right buttons for me. Romantic suspense, strong friendships, budding love, it's all there and I was in from the beginning. Ryan is amazing, his strength, leadership and love, giving him the support from his teammates and the love of his life. Rory is pretty strong, not wanting to give into the fear of being on campus and putting what she is taught to practice. And Jonas, I can't even. Plus getting to know other players and friends as they come to the forefront. This is a fabulous listen and I can't wait for more of this series.
Oliver Highpoint has a fantastic voice, and he nails the men in this book. Jonas with his evil sound, Jamie with support and Ryan with strength and passion! Celia Stone falls into the mind of Rory as she deals with her attack. She brings out her strength and love with a vengeance, making Rory realistic. Don't miss this one, you will love it!

New Author To Me
Rory is trying to get evidence to back her claim when she’s spotted and attacked . Ryan is finishing his swim when he hears a scream when he gets there he finds a girl in the pool and he jumps in to save her . Love that Ryan believes Rory even though she’s slow to trust Ryan and Jamie because she thinks they will take their teammates side .

Great sport romance/suspense
Rory and Ryan! They meet in the direst of situations, Ryan saves Rory from a dangerous mate. I enjoyed how their love grew even in the middle of very dangerous times. Rory seems to never be safe, but she finally is and at Ryan’s side, against all odds. Lovely narration too.

A Wet Meeting
Rory and Ryan a meeting that happens unexpectedly when she falls into the pool and almost drowns. Ryan is in the pool practicing because he is a star swimmer at the University. Ryan does not want to fall for a swimmer because of a bad experience she had while on a date she is determining not to be a victim. Lots of angst and suspense but I was rooting for Rory to get her justice for herself and the others and happiness for the cute couple of Ryan and Rory.
